Alfred Bell

  General Notes:

According to Gladys Baker, Alfred Bell was a shipmate of Henry Creedy. He got him his first job as a cabin boy when Henry was 12. He was related to Henry by marriage.
Crew List records of the Somerset Archive confirm that they were shi[pmates on the ship "New Design 2" in 1899.

  Noted events in his life were:

• Occupation: Sailor.

Alfred married Rhoda Jennings, daughter of Unknown and Elizabeth Jane Jennings, on 14 Oct 1889 in Creech St Michael. (Rhoda Jennings was born about 1862 in Bridgwater.)
